He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Massey and Betty Massey (Randall); his grandparents, Katie West, J. P. and Ida Mae Massey; his wife Rebecca; his brother Jerry Massey; and his siblings-in-law, Mike McCarthy, Kaye Meyers, JoAnne Hanley and Mary Stevens.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Massey (Nina) and Stefanie Davis (Ryan); his grandchildren, Landen, Sawyer Massey, Caleb, Lathan Schulte, Emmett Davis and Rebecca Davis; his sisters, Joyce McCarthy and Nancy Green (Terry); and his siblings-in-law, Gail Raddatz (Keith), Jamie Massey, Charlotte Smrcina (Jim), Arlene Dull, Julie Gabel and Doug Vanderbilt (Peggy).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial be directed to the Freedom Honor Flight, SACS, and Mayo Hospice.
