She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy Compton and Maxie Compton; her husband Bob; her children, Karen McClain (Tim) of Sparta, Gretchen Howard (Ted) of Nelson, Gene Swartz of Sparta and Peter Swartz of Sparta; her grandchildren, Tegan Wise (Chris) of Sparta, Nyssa McClain of Milwaukee and Devin McClain (Becky Kerby) of La Crosse; her great grandchildren, Grace Wise of Sparta and Ethan Wise of Sparta; her sister Judy Muir (Bob) of Lake Orion, Michigan; and her stepbrother Russell Mosher (Pat) of Vernon, Connecticut..

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, a celebration of Pat's life will be held at a later date in fall of 2020.
