With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Marcelle (Niggli) Bushek (Sparta, Wisconsin), born in Crookston, Minnesota, who passed away on April 9, 2025 at the age of 77. As we bid Mary Marcelle farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Niggli, Jr. and Stella Mehren (Tracy); her stepfather Robert Mehren; her siblings, Christine Ruffolo (Niggli) and Patrick Mehren; and her in-laws, Mina and Clarence Bushek.
She is survived by: her husband Paul R. Bushek; her daughter Anne A. Bushek; and her siblings, Julie Surdick (Joe), Ellen Mehren (Tom Ness) and John Mehren (Kelly Shiller). She is also survived by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the The Venue (211 N Black River St, Sparta, WI 54656). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
