It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Blackburn of Sparta, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 25, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Jacobsen and Jane Jacobsen (Spors); her husband Butch; and her brother Donald Jacobsen. She is survived by: her children, Gregory S Blackburn (Teresa) of Lansing, MI, Christine F. Lee of Loveland, CO, Jane L. Kurschner of Sparta, WI and Peter Hans Blackburn (Amy) of Kansas City, MO; her grandchildren, Kyra Long (Eric), Nisse Ramser (Justin), Joshua Blackburn, Daniel Blackburn, Alexander Blackburn, Jack Blackburn and Libby Marcus; her siblings, Kent Jacobsen (Sharon) of Sparta, Tom Jacobsen of Hawaii, Ruth Noth (Dale) of Norwalk and Margaret Oszman (Michael) of Texas; and her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Tolvstad (Dennis) of Daytona, FL, Norma Schmitz (Richard) of Sparta, WI, Mary Carol Gilbertson (Bruce) of Spring, TX and Kathleen Olson of Sparta, WI. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
