She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Schmitz and Olga Schmitz (Petzke); her husband James Bardeen; her sons, Marvin and Philip Bardeen; and her grandchildren, Shawn and Heath Fitzgibbons.

She is survived by: her children, James L. Bardeen (Jean) of Norwalk, Susan Leiterman (Rod) of Denmark, WI, Marian Bardeen of Sparta and Carol Maulsby (Dave) of Sparta; her grandchildren, Jarrid Bardeen (Leigh), Grace, Holly Jankowski (Phil), Dane, Lana, Heidi Jahnke (Kirk), Terri Foley (Adam) and Devin; and her great grandchildren, Rachelle Bardeen (Louis Hernandez), Alexis, Hailey, Adam, Isabella, Beth Smith, Hunter, Easton, Tucker, Jenna Kast (DJ), Wren, Amber Maulsby (Jeremiah Minton) and Eli.
