He is survived by: his mother Beverly Smith of Sparta; his stepfather Gordon Smith of Sparta; his father Charles Michel of Louisiana; his siblings, Gabrielle Michel of Tomah and Gordon Smith III of Sparta; and his grandparents, Terry Melancon (Maria) of Louisiana, Roger Michel (Charlene) of Louisiana and Fritz Heijtan (Norma) of Texas. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
