She was predeceased by: her sisters, Jane Goetz (James) and Sandra Zebell; her great grandchild Lawrence Clark III; her former husband Ervin Schultz; and her son-in-law Wayne Knapp.
She is survived by: her husband Clint Knott of Norwalk, WI; her daughters, Linda Clark (Larry) of Norwalk, Patty Kleven (Sheldon) of Sparta and Michelle Cratton (Daniel) of Sparta; her grandchildren, Lawrence Clark (Samantha), Lloyd Clark (Conrad Miller), Jesse Mahlum (Casey Thurston), Brandon Mahlum, Trenton Kleven, Stephanie Gross, Deana Mahlum, Vincent Smith (Alexis), Preston Cratton and Nicholas Cratton; her siblings, Wanda Smith of Sparta and James Sanders (Renee) of Sparta; the father of her children Lloyd Mahlum of Norwalk; and her close friend Theresa Lawry. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the funeral home in Joan's name.
