She was predeceased by: her parent August Vian; her granddaughter Rory of Winona; her grandfather Ernest Graack; and her great-nephew Kale. She is survived by: her husband Michael Peterson of Sparta; her children, Karla of Onalaska and Matthew (Jessica); her mother Betty Graack (Jerome); her siblings, Nancy Donovan, Jeff Vian (Karen), Lisa Hill (Jim), Sabrina Schultz (Jason) and Glenda Vian; and her nephew Ryan Donovan. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
