He was predeceased by: his parents, Willy Koltermann and Laura Koltermann (Niedfeldt); his wife Joan Mary Dinger; his son Donald; his brothers, Willard, Frank, Emil, Roland, David and Willy John; his siblings-in-law, George Mael, Beverly, Kathleen, Carmen and Jean Leis; his niece Caroly Stygar; and his nephew Lee Koltermann.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Spivey (Stan), Patsy Thurston (Al) and Barb Winslow (Paul); his daughter-in-law Cindy; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Cynthia (Josh), Donita (Josh), Alyssa, Ryan, Becca, Kelley and Kyle (Emilea); his siblings, Lorraine, Roy (Clarice) and Arthur (Pat); and his siblings-in-law, Lois Olsen, Pat Koltermann, Irene Leis (Leon), Lorna Koltermann, Shirley Hansen and Cliff Leis. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
