He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lawrence, Wilmer, Edna Mae Liedblad, LaVone Blahut, Buster, Ray and Delores Olson (Talu).

He is survived by: his wife Laurie Hesselberg (Laura Lee Davis); his children, Guy Hesselberg (Laura) of Bangor and Jeri Lee Weigel (Phil) of Bangor; and his granddaughters, Heidi Gennigan (Jesse) of Green Bay and Melanie Weigel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
