He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest Dewitt and Nida DeWitt (Stannard); his wife Madonna Wookey; his son Gary DeWitt Jr.; and his grandchildren, Christina Lene, Mandy Rolstad and Gerald DeWitt III. He was also cherished by many beautiful great grandchildren.
