She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Smith and Ruth Smith (Swanson); her husband Roger Matson Sr.; her son Roger Matson Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Myhre and Norman Myhre.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dawn Bindrim (Don) of Long Island, NY and Joanne Matson of Sparta; her grandchildren, Connor and Jordan Matson; her daughter-in-law Brenda Matson; her brother Louis Caprino (Vickie); and her siblings-in-law, Duane Matson (Alice), Marlene Martin (George), Susan Oswald (Ray) and Lois Losby (Bruce). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
