He was predeceased by: his siblings, Karl C. Koonmen, Carolyn Unger, Jaquelyne Millsap and Ella Arne. He is survived by: his close friends, Honey, Rue, Duncan, Toby, Dan and Gus; his wife Joan; and his children, Mark Koonmen (Jamie) of Fenton, MI, Erica Koonmen (Jef Jerde) of Sparta, WI, Matt Koonmen (Teryl) of Plymouth, MN, David Koonmen (Jessie Altringer) of Medina, MN, Elise Koonmen of Minneapolis, MN and Eve Knoll (Mike) of Victoria, MN.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9. 5 great-grandchildren.
