He is survived by: his wife Jeanene Ulrich; his children, Rodney Thurston (Valerie), Kevin Thurston (Roxy), Jeanne Davis (Daniel), Scott Thurston (Debra) and John Thurston; his stepchildren, Jackie, Constance, Gerald, Charles and Thomas; and his grandchildren, Darron Thurston, Guthrie Thurston (Kay), Anna Bender (Andy Scholtz), Elizabeth Strandell (Kris), Benjamin Thurston (Ashley), Melissa Deal (Matt), Sara Angle (Chris), Heidi Kocken (Nick), Richard Thurston (Brittany), Amanda Thurston, Jennifer Thurston, Joey Thurston and Abigal Thurston. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
