We bid farewell to Darlene J. Brueggeman (Sparta, Wisconsin), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 11, 2025 at the age of 75. Darlene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Walker and Madeline Walker; her husband Martin Brueggeman; and her siblings, Joyce Witt, Orbin Berg, Allen Witt, Carmen Walker, George (Mary Brueggeman), Alfred (Lucille Brueggeman), Mike (Martha Frederick) and Edward (Hilda Leis).
She is survived by: her significant other David Meyer of Stratford; her daughter Elizabeth Ertl (Scott) of Marshfield; her granddaughters, Hollie Jensen (Austin) of Marshfield and Amy Krumenauer of Jim Falls; her great grandchildren, Harper and Waylon; and her siblings, Dorothy Berg and Harold Walker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sparta - Torkelson Page-Smith Funeral Home (1132 Angelo Rd, Sparta, WI 54656). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:40 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery (17508 Ideal Rd, Sparta, WI 54656).
