He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Pennel and Charlotte Pennel (Henry); his siblings, Claire and Donna Mae; and his niece Janet Anderson (Pennel).
He is survived by: his wife Linda (Snowball Dance); his sons, Dennis (Renee) of Sparta and Dean Pennel (Sonya) of Sparta; his grandchildren, Davey (Courtney), Allison (Aric), McKenzie, Matthew and Colten; his great grandchildren, Breylen, Landon and Trace; his niece Kari Anderson; his sister Bettie Brechwald (David); and his aunt Hilly Enger (Hildegarde). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
