He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Olsen and Elaine Olsen (Schroeder); his son Andrew Olsen; his father-in-law Norman Larson; and his brother-in-law Juan Barajas.

He is survived by: his wife Kim Larson; his daughter Jennifer Swenson (Matthew); his grandsons, Jeffarey (Bella Brandau), Karson, Quintin and Oliver Swenson; his brother Bruce Olsen; his mother-in-law Beverly Larson; and his sisters-in-law, Brenda Larson (Jen Johnson), Durene Barajas and Janelle Earle (Eric). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
