She was predeceased by: her parents, Palmer Peterson and Margaret Peterson (Fleukiger); her husband Carlton Austin; her son Alan; her grandchildren, James and Rachel; and her great grandchild Megan.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Jo Michaelsen (Gary) of Sparta, Kevin Austin (Rosemary) of Sparta and Jay Austin (Carol) of Sparta; her grandchildren, Mandy Austin (James Bomar), Matthew Michaelsen (Lia Tauscher), Sarah Jo Vian (Trevor), Casey Austin (Beckie), Kelly Austin, Grace Austin and Allan Michaelsen (Dee); her daughter-in-law Kay Austin; and her sisters, Bonnie Ziegler of Sparta and Evonne Busse of Ettrick. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter, 2 step grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
