He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Jorgenson and Marian Jorgenson. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Jorgenson; his children, Duane Jorgenson, Jr. (Tina), Matthew Jorgenson (Becca), Becky Friedrich (Kyle) and Amy McDaniel (Brady); his grandchildren, Angelina, Jake, Bo, Bradley, Paige, Ethan, Addison, Edward, Kennedy and Teagan; and his siblings, Arleigh Jorgenson (Joni Leonard) and Sharon Petersen (LeRoy).
His contributions to the Master Gardeners Association and his guidance as a 4-H Leader are also examples of his dedication to public service.
