He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Dolsen and Lila Dolsen (Eckert); his siblings, Eileen Lewis and Alan Dolsen; and his grandson Alex Pfannebecker.
He is survived by: his wife Fran Roberts; his siblings, Charles (Mary Jean), Warren Dolsen (Lois) and Esma Dzikonski; his children, James Dolsen Jr. (Laurie) of South Range, Robin Paxton (Joe) of Superior, WI and Vicky Holm of South Range, WI.; his grandchildren, Holly Paxton, Laurisa Pfannebecker, Jamie Holm (Christina), Joe Paxton (Amanda), Jay Paxton (Cassie), Justine Greely (John), Eric Dolsen (Devon), Makenzie Gustafson (Trent), Abby Dolsen and Jocelyn Dolsen; his great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Cierra, Owin, Anora, Valerie, Logan, Kaylea, Clayton, Kieran, Jethro, Kaisen, Grayson, Camden and Bode; and his great great grandchild Caiden.
