He was predeceased by: his wife Ella; his parents, Lena Schober and Alfred Schober; and his siblings, Ernie Schober (Margie) and Kathy Merkel (Eugene).

He is survived by: his sister Ann Fooks (late Herbert); and his pet Muffy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and other friends and neighbors.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local DAV Chapter or the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, WI.
