He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Stabenow; his children, David Bonitz (Sandy) and Cheryl Holzhueter (Edward); his granddaughter Erin Riess (Kyle); and his great grandchildren, Katherine, Benjamin, Lucille and Eleanor. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
