He is survived by: his sisters, Annette Medina and Thea Fisher (Frank); and his son Robert J. LaFernier Jr.. He is also survived by daughter, Lenel LaFernier, WI; step-brother, Dennis DeGodt, TN; four grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
