It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille M. Ambrose (South Milwaukee, Wisconsin), born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert Ambrose; her son James Ambrose; her brothers, Jack, Robert, Clarence and Donald Meyers; her siblings-in-law, Louis Ambrose, John Nietupski, Edward Ambrose, Harold Schoenberg, Robert Ehlen, Robert Howe, Chuck Leffelman, Tom Nield, Gene Ehlen, Elsie Nietupski, Thecla Ambrose, Margie Meyers, Nancy Meyers, Kathy Meyers and Dorothy Meyers; her son-in-law Robert Ambrose Steckbauer; and her parents, John Meyers and Magdalene Meyers.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Ambrose, Mark Ambrose (Ginger), Eileen Ambrose Steckbauer and Paul Ambrose (Rene); her grandchildren, Nicholas Ambrose (Anna), Madeline Ambrose, Graham Ambrose (Brooke), Joseph Ambrose, Gwendolyn Ambrose, David Ambrose-Steckbauer and Maija Ambrose-Steckbauer; her great grandchild Daphne Ambrose; her siblings, Dorothea Ehlen, Geraldine Ehlen, Mary Schoenberg, Kathy Howe, Joan Nield, Jeanie Leffelman, Ray Meyers and Kenny Meyers; her sister-in-law Judy Meyers; and also Margaret Ambrose. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
