He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Anna; his wife Joyce; and his siblings, Fritz and Marie.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Margie; his children, Rick and Sharon; his grandsons, Jason and Jeffrey (Ayin); his great grandchildren, Ethan and Farrah; his daughter-in-law Nancy; and his daughter Kylee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
