It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James M. Van Vlaenderen (South Milwaukee, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia; his parents, Adeline and Harold; and his nephew Ted. He is survived by: his brothers, Edward (Margaret), Gary, Dennis (George Litts) and Reverend Leonard; his nephews, Randy (Kim), Michael (Tina) and Jacob (Em); his brother Len; and his caregiver Linda. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Max Sass Funeral Home, Greenridge Chapel (4747 S 60th St, Greenfield, WI 53220). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions in Jim's name may be made out to The Wisconsin Humane Society.
