He was predeceased by: his child Ryan Kulig; his sisters, Sharon Schue and Mary Kulig; and his parents-in-law, Gilbert Magolan and Rita Magolan.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Kulig; his sister Patricia Samolinski (David); and his siblings-in-law, Cynthia Piorkowski (Richard), Nadine Drake (Donald), Doreen Melberg (Hans), Pamela Magolan, Gilbert Magolan Jr., Todd Magolan (Rebecca) and Janine Egofske (Thomas). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
