He was predeceased by: his son David; his parents, Chris and Gertrude; and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Peter (Cindy), Catherine Powers (Richard), Paul (Kelly), Mark (Ellen) and Matthew; and his brothers, John, Donald and Thomas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
