He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Anthony, Francis Bartlein, Alton and Rosie Aderhold; his stepfather Wayne Mattice; and his brother Scott.

He is survived by: his daughter Sierra Kathryn Schilcher; his sisters, Kerrie Ann Bartlein (Herb Wittliff) and Dena Jo Guziewicz (Thomas); his stepsiblings, Jason Aderhold and Leslie Perkins (Angel); his parent Anthony Max Bartlein (Judy Bartlein); his nieces and nephews, Draven, AaZarion, Keely, Mikayla, Tara, Abigail, Madison, Ella, Aaliyah and AaNiyah; and his great-niece Aria.
