He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Belisle and Marguerite Belisle; and his brother George of Somerset, WI.. He is survived by: his wife Dorie Belisle (Martell); his children, Rob Belisle (Heidi Hatcher), Michael Belisle (Maggie VanDeuren), Corde Belisle Gray and Leah Belisle Hertl (Nick Hertl); and his grandchildren, Adam, Alana, Aviana, Ayja, Mikey, John, Jackson, Emily, Joseph, Hudson, Bianca and Owen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Whatcom Land Trust or the Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association.
