He was predeceased by: his parents, Bote and Antje; and his brother Hendrik Talsma. He is survived by: his wife Dianne (Krenz); his children, Edith Talsma and Tobias Talsma (Elizabeth); and his brothers, Aant (Wiepie), Geert (Klaske) and Sytze (Elisabeth). He is also survived by many other extended family, and friends.
