He is survived by: his spouse Elvira Aguiar (Medeiros); his parent Mariana Aguiar (De Jesus); his children, Horace Aguiar (Stephanie) of Fall River and Dora Tantleff (Whit) of Baltimore, MD; his brother Antone Souza Aguiar of Açores; his grandchildren, Jeremy Aguiar, Casandra Felton, Nichole Aguiar, Emily Aguiar and Gavin Tantleff; and his great grandchild Leeah Aguiar.
