Schauer of Somers, Wisconsin, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 18, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Christiansen and Eleanor A. Christiansen; her husband Anthony "Tony" A. Schauer; and her siblings, Joan Schoelzel (Jerry) and Marland Christiansen.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Leslie (Scott), Laurie McDonald (Kevin), Robert Schauer and Patricia Scott (Steve); her grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Katelyn Leslie, Erin, Nathan (Jenn) and Joshua McDonald; her siblings, Margy Stubley (Charles) and Kendall Christiansen; and her sister-in-law Pam Christiansen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives and many friends.
Family has suggested memorials to Somers United Church of Christ in honor of Maureen.
