It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ramona Mallu in Somers, Wisconsin, born in Janesville, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 6, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Russell Reuter; her parents, Byron Schaber and Gertrude Schaber Bayer; her stepfather Erhard Bayer; and her former husband Erwin Mallu.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Gmeinder (Steven), Carol Manthei (Timothy) and Marie Severing (Richard); her grandchildren, Michelle Quednow (Jason), Ryan Manthei (Mary), Alexander Gmeinder, Dr. Alyson Manthei (Ian McManama), Elizabeth Inclan (Adam), Jonathan Gmeinder (Natalie), Kathryn Fox (Jeremy), Nicholas Gmeinder (Keri Ives) and Simon Gmeinder (Haley Griffin); and her great grandchildren, Genevieve, William, Hayes, Adelyn, Grace, Victoria, Elyana, Landon, Connor and Eleanor.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cargill United Methodist Church Music Ministry, directed by Richard Severing, which was close to her heart.
