He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Hankins and Ruth Hankins (Bakken); his siblings, Stanley (Lois Hankins) and Lois (John Tenney); his siblings-in-law, Jean Hankins and Paul Howland; and his father-in-law Arvin Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Colleen Bernu (Chuck) of Cloquet, MN, Connie Kiecker (Jeremy) of Plymouth, MN, Brian Hankins (Andi) and Solon Springs; his grandchildren, Johanna Bernu, Hayden, Amelia Kiecker, Brody, Taylor and Riley Hankins; his siblings, Russell Hankins of Bellevue, NE, Loretta Howland of Zimmerman, MN, Dorothy Swanson (Gary) of Grand Forks, ND, Roger Hankins (Tia) and Solon Springs; his mother-in-law Carole Anderson; and his friend Lloyd Radtke. He is also survived by many other friends and extended family.
