He is survived by: his wife LaVonna "Jane" Fortney; his children, James Fortney (Sheryl), Nicholine "Nicky" Crick (Philip) and Hassan "Ole" Fortney (Kelcie); his grandchildren, Carl, Allen Fortney, Torgor, Anna Crick, Ellanor and Asher Fortney; his siblings, Sue Walby (Peter) and David Fortney (Julie); and his siblings-in-law, Donna Fortney, Barbara Fisher and Donald Fisher (Linda).
