He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Olson and Edna Olson (Groves); his wife Patricia C. Knutson; his brothers, Richard Carl Olson and Robert Edwin Olson; and his grandson Skyler Hammond.

He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Lovett (Dave), Gail Nelson (Dave) and Kally Hammond; his grandchildren, Nikki Nelson, Davi Dilley (Lance), Rachel Connell (Josh) and Justin Lovett (Koheun); his great grandchildren, Shalee Nelson, Ayvah Connell, Alexa Eisner and Will Lovett; and his siblings, Don Olson (Patty) and Cheryl Mickelson.

In lieu of flowers, donations to North Crawford Rescue Squad, Ocooch Mountain Rescue Squad, or Our Saviors Lutheran Church appreciated.
