He was predeceased by: his parents, Sigurd Christiansen and Evelyn Christiansen (McDermid); his brothers-in-law, Donald Palubicki (Ruth), Bellevue, Raymond Palubicki (Grace) and Seymour; his wife Marilyn; his parents-in-law, Ernest and Nettie Palubicki; his grandson Josh Fischer; his brother Dennis Christiansen; and his siblings-in-law, Vernon Palubicki, Nancy Zawalick (Bernie) and Larry Hilbert.
He is survived by: his children, Patti Spurlock, Kathy Fischer (Robert), Shelly Christiansen (Tara), Mark Christiansen (Andrea), Bob Christiansen (Kathy), Amy Van Lanen (Rick) and Sara Christiansen (Keith); his grandchildren, Kristen (Nick), Katelyn, Amanda (Brad), Ashley (Andy), Parker, Hunter, Heidi, Levi, Lexi, Madison (Jon), Maleah and Miya; his great grandchildren, Rylan, Bradyn, Layla, Lily and Hope; and his siblings, Margaret Hilbert and Michael Christiansen (Bobbie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Wally's name can be made to the Meadow Wood Bus Fund.
