He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Piper; his children, Lori Smith (Scott Sr.), Rob Piper (Kristi) and Sheri Splan (John Boettcher); his grandchildren, Dan Piper (Michelle), Scotty Smith Jr., Preston Smith (Lauren), Amber McVeigh, Jacob Piper (Stephanie), Paiton Piper, Taigan Piper, Michael Splan (Annika), Karli Paape (Ryan) and Bryce Splan; his great grandchildren, Bryker Piper-Beaumier, Khayleb McVeigh, Jayce Owens and Nova Piper; his siblings, Alvin Piper (Mary) and Linda Williquette (Bill); his siblings-in-law, Darlene Kleczka (Norbie), Casey Pszanka (Yvonne), Debbie Golik (Steve), Pam Rosenberg (Ken) and Anita Ruch (Randy); and his close friend Jax. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
