He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Erem and Minnie Van Erem (Rupp); his wife Elizabeth Muraski (Betty); his sisters, Doris Van Erem and Joyce Bonkowski (Al); and his great grandchildren, Blueberry and Lance.

He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Stollfus (Rick) and Lynn Tappa (Randy); his grandchildren, Brian Stollfus (Jackie), Brad Stollfus (Amber), Christina Herman (Jason) and Kayln Tappa (Stephan); his great grandchildren, Tenley, Taryn Stollfus, Emma Stollfus, Amelia and Max Herman; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Szela, Carol Wakeman, Evelyn Englebretson and Donald Muraski. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
