He is survived by: his children, Ron Vander Velden, Rog Vander Velden (Nancy), Sue Dery (Dan), Mike Vander Velden and Steve Vander Velden; his grandchildren, Joy Strasburg (Steve), Jodi Larson (Blair), Jessica Specht (Brad), Dawn Alberts (Jonas), Jeff Vander Velden (Beth), Andrea Wesolowski (Dan), Matt Nagel (LeeAnna), Ryan Nagel (Traci), Christy Babiarz (Craig), Chad Vander Velden, Stephanie Miller (Marc) and Rachel Paschen (Ryan); his siblings, Gladys Ambrosius and Gerald Vander Velden; and his siblings-in-law, Martha Scray (Leo), Stella Davis (Bernard), Eleanor Kropp (Ambrose), Earl Verheyden (Geneva), Norma Gerrits (Alvin), Donald Verheyden, Dorothy Van Boxtel (John) and Harvey Verheyden (Anita). He is also survived by 27 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (2597 Glendale Ave, Howard, WI 54313). A Mass was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
