She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam "Art" and Freida Kurtz; her husband Norman W. Hembel; her siblings, Irmgard Clasen (Reinhardt), Anna Marie Nicolaus (Walter), Margurite Kurtz and John Kurtz (Irene); and her siblings-in-law, Evelyn Zarling (Art) and Alvin Hembel (Marilyn).
She is survived by: her children, Norman A. Hembel, Albert Hembel (Susan) and Sherrie Ann Gokey (Michael); her grandchildren, Adam Hembel, Andrew Hembel (Jackie), Ashley Thull (Randy), Jason Gokey (Sandra) and Talea Gokey (Matt); her great grandchildren, Cody, Brandon Gokey, Ryan, Ashlyn, Angelena, Reeve Thull, Darian, Lydia and Mickella Brown; and her godchildren, Cindy Birno, Ivan Schall and John Lehman. She is also survived by step-great granddaughters, step-great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
