He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Francis "Fritz", Rosemarie "Rosie" Lechner and Robert Schaefer; his uncle Peter Engelke; and his cousin Kristin Williams.
He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Lechner and Kathleen Lechner; his children, Lennon and Breanne; his brother Blake Lechner (Dee); his grandmother Donna Schaefer; his aunts and uncles, Tom (Kris), Don Lechner (Dori), Cheryl Checolinski (Mike) and JoAnn Engelke; his godmother Patsy (John Schaefer); his friends, Joel and Brady; and his cousins, Ryan, Ricky, Sean and Luke. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
