It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Hubert Michalsen of Sister Bay, Wisconsin, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 1, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Holger Michalsen and Ruth Michalsen (Ogne); his brother Ronald Michalsen; and his son-in-law Don Gaddes. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Akerly; his children, Eric Michalsen (Ann) of Louisville and Lisa MacDonald (Ron); his sister Bay (Maia Michalsen); his grandchildren, Lena MacDonald, Connor MacDonald, Hanna Michalsen, Grace Michalsen, Cooper Gaddes and Xavier Gaddes; and his sister-in-law Shirley Michalsen of Florida.
