He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maynard E. Harvell and Louise Beulah Harvell (Bowman); his grandmother Dena; his friend Bert Arnold; his wife Linda; his children, Bret Harvell (Kathy), Glen Harvell (Shelly) and Jean Wright; his grandchildren, Andrew, Emily Harvell and Dalton Wright; his former wife Lois; his sister Barbara Molash (Walter); and also, Andrea Henning and Dennis Wright. He was also cherished by his nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given in his name to the Washington Island Veterans Memorial Fund.
