We bid farewell to Karen E. Ekberg of Sister Bay, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 19, 2024 at the age of 83. Karen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Sohns and Helen Sohns; her former husband John R. Landstrom; her husband Bob; her sister Joan; her nephew Billy; her great grandchild Austin; her stepsons, Matt and Dean; and her stepgranddaughter Nicole.
She is survived by: her children, Heidi Penchoff (Brian), Carrie Jenson and Tim Landstrom (Alicia). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Ephraim Moravian Church (9970 Moravia St, Ephraim, WI 54211). A reception will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
