She was predeceased by: her former husband Robert Peterson; her daughter Mary Tsolak; her brother Jeffrey Boeck; and her parents, May Boeck and Alvin Boeck.
She is survived by: her husband William Nowitzke; her daughters, Jeanne Godfrey (Chad) and Susan Ewbank (Mark); her stepchildren, Sandi Wanzer (Brian), Mary Kay Peterson (Phil) and Robert Peterson (Brynne); and her siblings, Jim Boeck (Linda), Rosie Kenkel, Nita Michalski (Bill) and Mickey Boeck (Sheila). She is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces, and extended family.
Memorials may be given in her name to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
