With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delmar Dahl (Sister Bay, Wisconsin), born in Columbus, North Dakota, who passed away on October 16, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara Carlson; his granddaughter Olivia Martin Dahl; his children, Craig, Vicki Dahl (family: Kirstin Dahl, Nicolas Rauline), Emily Dahl and Jonathan Lindsley; his grandchildren, Thoren and Ylva; his children, Jonathon Dahl (Emily Clark), Amy and Jeff Stress; his family, Katie Dahl, Rich Higdon, Lydia, Jon Bugli, Peter Dahl, Timothy and Olivia Dahl; his nephews, Steven Breding, Clayton Carlson and Mark Carlson; and also, Guthrie, Benjamin and Ella. He was also cherished by his parents, sister, nephew, and brothers- and sister-in-law.

“Delmar was one of a kind and filled the hearts of so many. His wit, impish smile, listening ear and genuine concern for all made him an Icon in Northern Door County. Upon our engagement, Delmar offered counseling and asked if there was anything that concerned either of us about the other. Wilma said, "yes, Bob doesn't always use his turn signals." Delmar's response? "Do you mean in Door County?...why everone knows where he's going!" THAT was vintage Delmar.”
