She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Dormanen and Florence Dormanen (Bellika); and her brother Gene Dormanen. She is survived by: her husband Bruce Thomas; her children, Chadwin Thomas and Heather O'Brien; her sons-in-law, Robert O'Brien and Georg Jochum; her granddaughters, Stefani Erickson (Jeremy), Rachel O'Brien, Bobbi Jo Wipperling (Brandon) and Rylee Eiffert (Jakob); and her siblings, Dwight Jaworski (Tanya), Verna Dormanen, Carol Edberg, Margie Vik (Mark) and Sandra Marlett (Seth). She is also survived by four great grandchildren, many brothers- and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Janet Jane Thomas, a long-time area resident, died peacefully on Feb. 24, 2024, surrounded by her family after a long illness with Parkinson's disease.
