He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William and Josephine Alexander (Meehan); his wife Mary Shirley; his son John Alexander; and his siblings, Charlie Alexander, Helen Beasley, Gladys Alexander and Dolores Sigafus.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Alexander Jr. (Donna) of Benton, WI, Mary Jo Prien of Elkhorn, WI and JoAnna Fuller (John) of Monroe, WI; and his sisters, Vera Fisher of Bargersville, IN and Rosemary Dustin of Platteville, WI.. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.
